Is that a can of citric acid?
No. Citric acid has poor dissolving properties and is ineffective in restoring water flow. It is not used in well cleaning.
How long do I need to pump the well after treatment?
It is recommended to pump out at least 10 well volumes. Then - check the acidity level with litmus paper, which is included in the kit.
I have a plastic filter (e.g. with a polypropylene coating). Will the reagent not dissolve it?
No. The reagent does not affect plastic, rubber or metal - only the deposits.
Where do I pump the water after treatment?
The reagent does not contain environmentally hazardous substances. The grass at the discharge site may temporarily turn yellow, but will grow back in 1-2 weeks.
I was suggested to use hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. Is that safe?
It is strictly forbidden to use sulfuric or hydrochloric acid. 95% of wells have a stainless steel filter, which these acids destroy. Often after such “cleaning” it is necessary to drill a new well.
How effective is reagent cleaning compared to other methods?
The reagent method is the most effective, since during well operation not only the filter (screen) but also the rocks close to the filter are colmatized.
After dissolution of colmatant from filters and nearby rocks, the solution is freely washed out, which leads to restoration of water inflow.
After mechanical action (by swabbing, treatment with hydro or mechanical ruff, pneumatic impulse, jeloning, etc.) it is possible to achieve only cracking of
cemented sand without removing the main mass of colmatant, because of this there is
short-term result, usually from 2 to 4 months.
How do you pump a well?
It is not allowed to pump through the meter, water treatment system. Pump directly from the well.
Won't the reagent get into the neighbor's well?
Water movement in aquifers, in which there are problems with water yield, up to 10 meters per day, and the finished reagent has a higher viscosity and lower fluidity than water, so 10 meters will be enough. Or for the time of treatment to limit the use of wells within a radius of 10 meters.
What if the well is filterless (the exploitable aquifer is not anchored by pipes)?
Colmatization occurs in all wells, regardless of their design and the rock of the aquifer.
If I leave the reagent in the well for longer than the instructions indicate, will it be better?
No, by leaving the reagent in the well for longer, the dissolved colmatant may begin to precipitate, which is not desirable.

Satisfied with the product. The length of the pipe from the hand pump to the end of the pipe is 7.5m. I diluted 600g of reagent in 10L of water and poured it through a hose to the bottom of the pipe. From a height of 2m above the ground, the mixture did not “want” to go down. Climbed to the 2nd floor and from this height poured. After 4 hours I added 3 liters of water. After a day pumped with a hand pump 30 buckets, and then pumped. The water was black and stinky, at the end clean. If before cleaning the bucket dialed for 35 pumps, then after cleaning 7-8. Very satisfied. The means remained for at least 6 more flushes.
